Where do I begin…..The thought of getting married within the parameters of the Covid-19 pandemic was very exciting but also presented logistical nightmares.  I had some clear ideas of what I believed I would like but not certain who could help to make it happen for me.

 

I need not have worried.  From the first moment I met Gini, owner of Julie Fitzmaurice she made me feel confident that my needs would be met and all would be well.  She has a presence which is calming and reassuring. Her experience is clearly extensive. She had selected a number of sample dresses and styles to show me open my arrival.  Her incisive questions and eye for detail helped her to quickly understand me, my ideas and my preferences.  As a lady of a certain age with very clear personal opinions I was grateful for Gini’s tactful and diplomatic guidance.  She just “got me”!  After our first meeting I went home feeling like I was on cloud nine.  I had found my solution.  I was going to have a Julie Fitzmaurice couture outfit for my wedding.

 

Gini offered a number of colour alternatives and she was quick to identify colours which really made me come alive when I looked at my reflection in a mirror.  Gini is a master at taking the pieces of a jigsaw and putting them together in the best way for her customers.  Her extensive experience meant she could anticipate the style, length and fit to flatter.  She is a genius!

 

The time taken to make the fit absolutely perfect, was time well spent. The eye for detail to make the garments perfect. Her ability to communicate such detail to the team to make the adjustments was wonderful.  

 

I always felt as if I was the centre of attention.  Gini and the team at Julie Fitzmaurice really cared about me and what I wanted to achieve – the perfect wedding outfit.  I felt fabulous.  They were successful beyond my wildest dreams.  Nothing was too much trouble.  I was thrilled when I collected my dress and jacket and was given a very stylish mask to help me meet the Covid-19 regulations – without impacting the look of my wedding outfit!  A wonderful and thoughtful touch.  Time was against us, fabric was sourced from Italy and fittings arranged in a timely manner, but they did it for me.

 

My gratitude knows no bounds.  I felt fabulous on my wedding day and the compliments I received were kind and refelected how I felt.  I was a very, very happy bride who sailed through the day in a dress and jacket that was perfect for me , the occasion and the setting.

 

Thank you Gini – you are my guardian angel.  There are very few occasions when anyone has given me the confidence to be just me.  Bless you.  My Julie Fitzmaurice experience gave me something money cannot buy, and Gini gave it to me.
