Since 1932

Gini Palm's story started at the prestigious Marshall & Snelgrove department store in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

After completing a business course, Gini trained under Miss Mont, the doyenne of all fashion buyers. Miss Mont was one of the first buyers to travel to Paris after the First World War and buy from some of the most famous fashion houses such as Dior, Jean Patou and Marcel Rochas. She also oversaw the production of "In House Creations" for the wealthy wives of Yorkshire textile magnets, who arrived by chauffeur to spend the day purchasing and ordering in a glamourous environment.

This is where Gini gained her expertise and passion for fashion creations.

Taking her passion and wealth of experience in couture fashion, Gini Palm went on to acquire Julie Fitzmaurice in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Gini is Creative Director and she heads her team of passionate fashion experts at Julie Fitzmaurice, in an environment based on a Paris Couture House.

Gini and her team create outfits for discerning clients who appreciate their attention, honesty, quality and fitting. Using luxurious wool crepes, silks, lace, tweeds and velvets, outfits are created, concealing and revealing in all the correct places.

Anything is possible in any size with Gini and her team at Julie Fitzmaurice. Clients recognise and truly appreciate the rarity of acquiring such timeless pieces.
